A clear approach to your information
The KronicleS Collective (TKC), at blog.kvinc.org, is an editorial publication of KVI Network Creations, LLC. This page explains information-handling practices specific to the journal and should be read alongside KVI Network’s broader Privacy Policy.
Information we receive
When you submit work or contact our editors, you may provide your name, email address, country, contributor biography, the title and category of your work, writing, images, files, links, and related editorial correspondence. Comments may contain the information you enter, as well as technical information used to limit spam or abuse.
As you browse, the site and its service providers may process information such as IP address, device and browser details, visit and referral data, cookie preferences, error logs, and other information needed to operate, protect, and improve the website. Newsletter subscriptions require an email address and subscription-related preferences.
How information is used
We use the information to review submissions, correspond with contributors, process editorial permissions, display published bylines and approved biographies, send requested updates, support readers, moderate comments, prevent spam, maintain security, and improve the reading experience. Submitting a creative work does not automatically publish it. Publication and substantive editorial changes require appropriate permissions.
Comments, subscriptions, and outside services
Comments are subject to moderation. WordPress, Jetpack, Forminator, spam-prevention, hosting, security, and email-related services may process information needed to perform their functions. Embedded videos, social posts, and other third-party media can operate under the third party’s own privacy and cookie practices when you interact with them. Following a link to another website means that website’s privacy policy applies.
If you choose to subscribe to new posts, subscription messages may contain an unsubscribe option. You may also contact us to ask about your subscription preferences. Operational communications about a submission may still be necessary to reply to your request.
Cookies and preferences
The journal may use necessary cookies for security, comments, administration, and site functionality, together with optional features governed by available consent controls. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. Requests can be sent to info@kvinc.org. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Retention and security
Information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary for editorial review, publication records, community moderation, communications, security, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by purpose. We use security measures appropriate to our operations, but no online system can guarantee complete security. Please do not include unrelated sensitive details, passwords, or payment-card information in comments or submission files.
Children and contributors
The publication’s current submission process is intended for contributors aged 18 and older. If a parent or guardian believes personal information was submitted by a child inappropriately, they may contact us for review.
