From the Original Collection to the New Edition
The Collector’s Edition carries a 2019 copyright by C. Robert, the earliest date identified in the current Collector’s Edition record. Some of the writing reaches back even further: Diary of a Black Man, included in this collection, carries a 2012 copyright.
The new 2026 edition continues that journey for today’s readers while preserving the reflective voice at the heart of the work.
A few words before you turn the page
The collection moves between personal reflection, encouragement, relationships, resilience, faith, and the determination to keep going.
“Communication is the key to every relationship, whether we are doing business or getting married to that special someone.”
“I may have fallen in the dirt, but at least I still have my self-worth.”
“Positive reinforcement is there to keep you cool, calm, and collected, put a smile on your face, and help you succeed.”
“Success is knocking at my door, so I must even score.”
One volume. Several bodies of work.
The Collector’s Edition brings together Thoughts & Aspirations, Thoughts, Words & Action, Words of Wisdom, and Diary of a Black Man.
Readers will encounter pieces including “A Desire to Change,” “Communication,” “Gratitude,” “Never Giving Up,” “Positive Reinforcement,” and “The Race of Success.” Some pieces encourage. Some challenge. Others simply ask the reader to sit with the question a little longer.
